Spritely and friendly baby

One Friday night, around six months ago, not long after I’d just moved, I got a call from a girl in Salford. A tiny kitten had turned up at the back of her workplace and she thought she’d either been dumped or was lost.

After posts were shared and leaflets put up, it turned out she was a lost kitten. Heartbreakingly, at only 6 months old, she was already pregnant herself.

When the owner was found, they did not agree with our terms for her return, including that she should be spayed, and made the decision not to collect her.

So she stayed with us.

Fast forward six months and this little girl has been living in a foster home with two other cats and has absolutely blossomed. Safe, settled, and finally given the chance she always deserved.

We have called her Elin 

Elin is a lovely, spritely little girl with the sweetest nature. She is very affectionate and likes to return her pets with licks and kisses. During the day you will usually find her perched or curled up on the sofa happily watching the birds on cat TV 

She knows exactly when it is treat time and will go absolutely feral for a lick-e-lix, with liver and cat grass being her favourite flavours. She loves cuddling up on the sofa with you under a plush blanket and thoroughly enjoys playtime too. Quite often you will catch her entertaining herself with her all time favourite toy, a spring 

Elin has now been spayed, is microchipped, and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. We are looking for a home for her ideally with someone who works from home or is around a lot, as she really enjoys human company. We think she could also be quite happy living with another friendly cat.

From a lost, pregnant baby passed from place to place to a confident, cheeky little monkey full of love and personality. This is Elin, and we are so proud of how far she has come
