Wellington & Nellie – Gorgeous Tabby Siblings Seeking a Working Home
We have a beautiful pair of tabby cats, Wellington and Nellie, who are looking for something a little different — a safe, outdoor working home such as a livery yard, farm, or stable.
These two are brother and sister, nearly a year old, and both have been neutered, microchipped, and fully flea and worm treated. They were born outdoors in a garden and, despite every effort, they’ve made it quite clear that indoor life just isn’t for them. They’re still very wary of people and prefer to keep their distance — but they’re in excellent health and would absolutely thrive in the right outdoor setup.
Wellington and Nellie would make fantastic working cats, helping to keep rodents at bay while living a peaceful, safe life. As a charity, we’re happy to provide full backup and support to get them settled — including crates for their six-week adjustment period, advice on setup, and ongoing guidance.
It’s essential that they’re kept secure for a minimum of six weeks while they learn their new surroundings, and that they have a warm shelter, daily food, and fresh water available at all times. Once settled, they’ll be loyal little workers and a joy to have around your yard.
I don’t take rehoming outdoor cats lightly, but in this case it truly is what’s best for them — they deserve a life where they can feel calm, free, and safe.
I’m happy to help with transport within a few hours of Wigan if needed.
