Bowie
Our Rockstar!
Please welcome David Bowie!
This striking ginger-and-white boy moves like lightning and loves nothing more than climbing high up onto cupboards and shelves. He’s graceful, confident, and very much wants to be king of the castle.
Bowie came to us after his previous owner, who had rescued him from the streets four years ago, sadly had to surrender him. He wasn’t happy living in a flat with another female cat and became frustrated at sharing his space. Since arriving here, he’s shown he gets along much better with male cats — he was inseparable from Speck and is now making friends with Roscoe.
He spends hours perched at the window, watching the birds and chatting away. He’s cheeky too — any open door or window and he’ll be there in a flash, desperate to see the outside world. The funny thing is, once out there, he’s absolutely clueless! A bit of a “wet lettuce” in the rain, he’ll sit and get soaked without knowing what to do next.
Because of this, we think Bowie would thrive in a home with:
-
A large space to roam and explore indoors
-
Plenty of high places to perch and rule from
-
Possibly a safe, covered courtyard or catio
-
Maybe even a friendly male companion
He’s a playful lad (especially with a feather toy), can be vocal when hungry, and he’s got very particular tastes — prawns and chicken get his approval, but Whiskas? Absolutely not. Bowie knows exactly what he wants. He is a rockstar after all!
Now, all he really needs is a home where he can be Top Cat, loved and adored, with the space and comfort he deserves.
Bowie is neutered, chipped, and vet checked. We may look to place him in foster while we search for his forever home, but we’d love to meet anyone who thinks they could be the perfect match.
Could you give David Bowie the good life he’s waiting for?
