Titan
The biggest, sweetest boy
Titan is one of the many cats we have slowly but surely been rescuing in from Moss Side.
Titan is a huge, handsome tomcat with an even bigger personality. Unfortunately, he became a bit of a bully out on the streets and was fighting with the resident cats in the area. A lot of this likely came from him being extremely protective over his young kittens that were there at the time. Sadly, during one altercation he badly injured one of the feeder’s own cats and broke her tail.
Because of this, Titan cannot safely return to the same area.
But here’s the thing…
Titan is NOT a bad cat.
He is actually one of the softest boys you could ever meet. He absolutely adores human company. He loves lounging around beside you, having lick e lix , giving kisses, being brushed, rolling about in Catnip and simply being near people he trusts. He is lazy, affectionate, gentle with humans, and just wants comfort and love.
He doesn’t really like other cats, he is terrified of dogs, and something we have recently discovered is that he seems very frightened of men. What happened to him in the past, we may never know.
What we DO know is that this giant teddy bear desperately needs a home of his own.
Titan has now been:
Neutered
Flea & worm treated
Microchipped
FIV tested NEGATIVE
Covered by 5 weeks free insurance upon adoption
And honestly… we feel he is ready now. He needs out of the shelter and into a calm, loving home before the summer arrives.
We can picture him now stretched out in a sunny garden, snoozing in a courtyard, pottering about outdoors safely before coming back inside for cuddles and snacks. He may look intimidating because of his size, but underneath it all he is truly a soft, loving boy.
Yes, he made mistakes outside while living in survival mode on the streets. But Titan deserves a second chance too.
