Meeko

This beautiful boy is Meeko - he is a born superstar, and he will win over your heart.

He is pure white and completely, utterly deaf. He can’t hear anything, so this boy is looking for a home preferably with a family, and at least one person who is at home the majority of the time.

He’s been in care twice with us now. Unfortunately, his original owner was an asylum seeker and had to give him up because he was moving on very quickly. We’ve had him trialled in a home with two other cats. It did not work. He also was homed to a lady who worked too many hours and he was left alone for too long and cried the house down. He can’t be alone.

We need a family for this boy because all he wants to do is show you his undying love and affection...and be cradled like a baby. You could not get a more loving cat than this boy. He would be amazing around children and a dog. But definitely not any other cats because he does not understand the language of cats. He doesn’t know how to stop chasing them, because he’s so intrigued as to what they are. He can’t hear them so he doesn’t know if they’re growling or hissing back at him.

Meeko loves to play, and absolutely loves going out on the harness and lead in the garden - so if you have a garden you can lead him up and let him out, but by no means ever let this boy off the harness, because he would never hear danger coming. He is fully neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
