Meet Jefferson, or Jeff for short! 

 

Jeff is a gorgeous 6kg love bug with a HUGE personality. He’s a boy who will happily meow to demand cuddles, loudly complain when things aren’t quite to his liking, and then melt your heart with his wonderful purr. 

 

Jeff is looking for a confident, experienced cat owner who understands that trust takes time. He can be extremely shy when he first meets you and may be reactive until he feels safe and learns that he can trust you. But once that trust is earned, Jeff will become your very best friend. 

 

He loves chaser toys and bouncy balls, and he certainly isn’t a boring, quiet little wallflower! He is an energetic boy who throws himself around when playing, so his new home will need a large, heavy, sturdy cat tree that can withstand his enthusiasm. 

 

Jeff was neutered at around 18 months old and does occasionally still hump while kneading. He has a particular favourite toy that he uses for this, so his adopters simply need to make sure his special toy is nearby when he needs it!

 

Jeff would be best suited to:

 An experienced cat owner

 A quiet, understanding home where he can settle at his own pace

 Someone who enjoys a cat with a BIG personality

 A home without young children

 Someone who doesn’t expect a perfectly calm or obedient cat!

 

Jeff hasn’t been able to settle happily alongside his current family’s two senior cats, which is absolutely heartbreaking because underneath that initially defensive exterior is a beautiful, loving boy who desperately wants someone of his own. 

 

Give Jeff the time, patience and understanding he needs, and you’ll have a loyal companion who will happily tell you exactly what he thinks, demand his cuddles and purr his way into your heart.
