Salvador Dali
Beautiful Salvador
This beautiful black cat is around 18 months old and has been hanging around a garden in Burnage for about four months. During that time, kind neighbours have been feeding him. Concerned for his wellbeing, someone reached out to a local Facebook group to check if he was missing, especially as he had a painful injury to his back leg.
He was taken to a vet in Stockport, where it was discovered he’d likely been bitten. The abscess had burst, and he was treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. Sadly, the initial advice was to return him to the street, but we knew he was homeless and without anyone to care for him. Thankfully, he was taken into emergency foster care, and I brought him home with me.
We’ve named him Salvador Dali — because he has a sweet white tip on his tail, like a little paintbrush, which we thought was adorable.
Salvador is a truly loving and affectionate boy. He’s scheduled to be neutered and have any necessary tests on Monday. He’s incredibly playful—he loves anything that moves, especially feather toys, balls, and catnip—and he’s full of head bumps and cuddles. He’s also very food-motivated!
He gets along well with other cats and is currently enjoying watching the garden cats at my home. What he really needs now is a forever home with a secure outdoor space where he can eventually explore safely.
Salvador is desperate for love, stability, and a place to truly call his own. If you or someone you know could offer him that, please get in touch—we’d love to see him settled as soon as possible.
Neutered, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
If you think you could be the right fit for Salvador, please fill out our adoption enquiry form, and get in touch with us.
