I'd like to introduce you to these beautiful girls! The grey female is named Russo, and the black one is Cassie.

 

They are 18 months old and siblings. They were living with their mother cat, who has since been adopted. Unfortunately, 7 weeks ago, their owner had to move into sheltered housing.

Initially, they had a rough start at the shelter and struggled to settle in. They were very protective of each other and hissed at us, which understandably scared a few of the volunteers. Having only known their family home since birth, this new environment was quite distressing for them. 

​

However, they have now adjusted and are full of personality! They love to play, especially with tunnels, and enjoy games of fetch. They chase the laser light everywhere and have a great time with toys and feathers. Their appetite is excellent, and they adore meat treats and lick-e-lix. 

​

I believe they would thrive with young professionals or a family with older children. They likely never had the chance to explore outdoors in their previous home, so an opportunity to do so would be wonderful for them. I genuinely think they will make fantastic companions; they just need a loving home of their own. 

​

I’m eager to help them find a forever home quickly, as the shelter environment has been quite overwhelming for them. If you fit the criteria for these lovely girls and are ready to provide a home for potentially the next 15 years, I would love to meet you!

 

They are not vaccinated yet, but we can discuss that post-adoption, as they are both spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date with flea and worm treatments.​
