This is Mischief and he certainly lives up to his name.

He came to PawPurrs after wandering around lost in Manchester City Centre. We did try numerous times to find his owners but unfortunately nobody came forward to claim him.

Mischief is a very inquisitive cat and very loving. He’ll come to meet you at the door when you get in from work and he'll want a cuddle and fuss, and he'll sit next to you at night, he loves to chill on the sofa.

Mischief appears OK with dogs, he never even flinched when he met his foster family's dog, just strolled passed her without a second look, so he seems to be used to dogs.

He doesn't seem to like other cats though. He appears a bit jealous of the other cats in his foster home, although he will tolerate them. The odd hiss as they pass each other. He is good with children however. His foster mum has grandchildren who are 4 and 10.

If Mischief wants feeding he will certainly let you know....he can be a bit fussy about food, doesn't like anything in jelly, he loves cat milk.

He's a very easy cat to look after. He likes to be groomed with a brush, which is good for him and his condition to keep his coat in trim.

We are not sure of Mischief's age. He's been to the vets recently for blood tests. The results did show that he is hypothyroid, so he’s on medication for hypothyroidism. This means he has to be given a liquid into the mouth every morning and evening. He does very well on this and it helps level out his thyroid. The medication can be ordered online and comes at a small cost approximately £25 every couple of months
