Malcolm is a very sweet boy. We're not completely sure how old he is, he seems very young, perhaps 12-18 months.
He came to us immediately after having his back leg removed following a bad injury.
At first, he was very depressed and for 3 weeks he barely moved from his chair. He was also terrified of EVERYTHING... loud noises, a leaf blowing past the window, something being put in his food bowl... and he would hide under the cupboard, sometimes for days.
But... In the last couple of weeks however he is a changed boy! NOW he LOVES his chin scritches, ANYTHING being put in his food bowl, PLAYING with his laser pen, FOOD and more food. Also did we mention food? And also snacks and treats!
He would be happiest in a home without children or dogs but with a friendly cat or two I’m sure he’d be fine.
He is very self-sufficient and wouldn't be distressed if you were out at work all day. He has shown no interest in going outside and would be happy as an indoor cat.
He gets around fine on his 3 legs and is completely unaware of missing anything.
He is neutered, flead and wormed and will also be micro-chipped before leaving for his new forever home.
“He is an absolutely beautiful cat and I would love to keep him but I don’t think he will ever be comfortable with our overly bouncy and super-friendly dachshund!” Malcolm's Foster Family.
