Ellie came into PawPurrs after around 5 years of constant breeding and again she was heavily pregnant. In the initial examination at the vets, it was also found that Ellie had a grade 2 tumour on her tummy which meant she was too poorly to continue with the pregnancy.
Now in Foster Care we have spent the time focusing on Ellie's socialisation and weight gain as she was so neglected and she was dreadfully thin.
Since then Ellie has come on leaps and bounds! ALL she wants is love and cuddles! However she is still very wary with strangers so please understand this when visiting her. It won't last for long once she feels safe and comfortable.
As you can see from the pictures and videos, Ellie is a very special girl who has been through a lot and deserves the best home with someone who has the patience to allow her to come out of her shell. She's craves the love and attention that up until now she has never been shown.
With time, Ellie will be the perfect lap cat, companion and family member. While she appeared terrified and in pain when she first came to us, she did not once hiss or swipe a claw at us (as we would expect) which just goes to show how lovely she is.
If you feel like Ellie could be the cat for you or a family member. Then please get in touch.
